Moldovan parliament speaker has meeting with speaker of Slovakia's National Council

Chisinau, 24 September /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Zinaida Grecianii has had a meeting with Speaker of the National Council of Slovakia Andrej Danko, on the sidelines of the Forum of Parliament Speakers from the Eurasian Countries, titled, Greater Eurasia: Dialogue. Trust. Partnership, held in the Nur-Sultan city, Kazakhstan, on 23-24 September, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
”Moldova was in a certain international isolation in the last years; now, we re-establish the relations with our partners from the European Union, Russia, Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Slovakia is a country with which we can exchange experience and initiate projects, including important investment ones,” the parliament speaker said.
Andrej Danko welcomed the position expressed by Zinaida Grecianii as to the balanced foreign policy and invited her to pay an official visit. The sides opted for the deepening and extending the cooperation on the parliamentary dimension and for increasing the trade exchanges between the two countries.
Attending the meeting were Deputy Parliament Speakers Mihail Popsoi and Alexandru Slusari, as well as lawmaker Bogdan Tirdea. Parliament speakers from 65 countries of Europe and Asia, as well as leaders of 14 important international and inter-parliamentary organizations participate in the Forum of Parliament Speakers from the Eurasian Countries, Greater Eurasia: Dialogue.
