Germany open for fully support for Moldova

Chisinau, 24 September /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Zinaida Grecianii has had a meeting with Vice President of Germany’s Bundestag Hans Peter Friedrich, on the sidelines of the Forum of Parliament Speakers from the Eurasian Countries, titled, Greater Eurasia: Dialogue. Trust. Partnership, held in the Nur-Sultan city, Kazakhstan, on 23-24 September, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
The sides exchanged opinions on the situation in Moldova and the march of the reforms. The parliament speaker noted that, for the first time ever, the left and right political wings were learning to govern together, for the good of the country’s residents. “The parliamentary majority was not set up easily and our goal is to preserve it and bring results according to people’s expectations,” Grecianii said.
Zinaida Greceanii thanked Germany for support, including in unlocking the macro-financing for Moldova. The parliament speaker declared for the deepening of cooperation on the parliamentary dimension and invited German investors to Moldova, stressing the friendly conditions for the business environment existing in the country.
For his part, the German official highlighted the importance of good inter-parliamentary relations and cooperation on all dimensions. Hans Peter Friedrich announced Germany’s full support for Moldova.
Attending the meeting were Deputy Parliament Speakers Mihail Popsoi and Alexandru Slusari, as well as lawmaker Bogdan Tirdea. Parliament speakers from 65 countries of Europe and Asia, as well as leaders of 14 important international and inter-parliamentary organizations participate in the Forum of Parliament Speakers from the Eurasian Countries, Greater Eurasia: Dialogue.
