Health minister announces achievements for 100 days in office

Chisinau, 25 September /MOLDPRES/- Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Ala Nemernco announced on her official page on a social network the achievements for 100 days in office. These include the purchase of a radiotherapy device in oncology and amending the Regulations on appointing hospital heads.
The official says that in the 100 days in office she has managed to stop the dubious purchases, the over-purchases of drugs reached the expiry date and ended the monopoly in the field of dialysis.
Among the achievements, the minister also pointed out the increase of staff salaries for night guards by up to 1,000 lei from October 1 and the regulations for organizing the competition for residency studies.
Also, the legal framework was created to allow graduates to work after six years of faculty, including the temporary employment of medical students as average medical personnel. Also in the 100 days an online portal for sick leave certificates has been set up.
The official said that currently it is working on pricing methodology to revise drugs, on modifying the method to select the reimbursed drugs. It is also working to create a mechanism for monitoring the stock and consumption of medicines and to create monitoring registers for patients with diabetes, cancer and kidney disease.
The minister also pointed out amending the 2020-2030 Health System Development Strategy and the Labor Code.
