Moldovan leu depreciates against euro, U.S. dollar

Chisinau, 25 September /MOLDPRES/ – The national currency (MDL) depreciates against euro (EUR) and U.S. dollar (USD), according to the official exchange rates provided by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM), for Thursday, 26 September.

Thus, EUR costs MDL 19.53 for €1, by MDL 0.07 more than today. The value of USD adds MDL 0.05 up to the official price of MDL 17.76 for $1.

The exchange rate of Romanian leu (RON) appreciates with MDL 0.02 up to MDL 04.11 for L1. The cost of Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) goes up by MDL 0.01, to the value of MDL 0.73 for ₴1.

The cost of Russian rouble (RUB) keeps its price of MDL 0.27 for ₽1.

According to data presented by BNM, in August 2019, MDL appreciated, in average values, by 0.1 per cent against USD, up to MDL 17.73 for $1.
