Moldovan president meets Romanian counterpart

Chisinau, 26 September /MOLDPRES/- In New York, at the UN General Assembly, President Igor Dodon had a meeting with President of Romania Klaus Iohannis, the presidential press service has reported.
The officials went through the whole agenda of bilateral relations. Igor Dodon underlined the strategic character of our cooperation, noting that Romania is the largest trading partner of the Republic of Moldova.
Also, the head of our state thanked the Romanian leadership for supporting Moldova in areas of major interest and for carrying out several important programs and projects, including in the economic, social, energy field.
In the context, Dodon reiterated that relations with the neighboring state are a priority for the presidential administration.
