Moldovan president meets Turkish counterpart

Chisinau, 26 September /MOLDPRES/- During the visit to New York, President Igor Dodon had a meeting with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the presidential press service has reported.
The officials reviewed the bilateral relations and noted the achievement of the Strategic Partnership Agreement, signed in October 2018, during Erdoğan's official visit to Moldova.
The president thanked the Turkish leadership for assisting our country in carrying out several projects, especially in Gagauzia and in renovating the Presidency building.
In this context, Igor Dodon and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan approached how the construction of the stadium in Comrat is taking place. The Turkish side assured that the works will be carried out on time.
At the end of the meeting, the officials discussed issues on the official visit to Turkey, which the Moldovan president will pay at the end of the year.
