Former Moldovan MP criminally prosecuted

Chisinau, 27 September /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau law court has issued a warrant of arrest for 30 days against a former MP of the Democratic Party (PDM), Constantin Tutu. The spokeswoman for the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office, Catalina Bogonos, has confirmed the information for MOLDPRES.
According to Bogonos, the Chisinau Court took the decision today, in the absence of the lawmaker, who was put on a wanted list by the law-enforcement bodies.
Constantin Tutu is prosecuted for influence peddling.
