Moldova's president has meeting with representatives of Moldovan Diaspora from United States

Chisinau, 28 September /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon has had an informal discussion with representatives of the Moldovan Diaspora, who achieved significant progress in the professional activity in the United States, the presidential press service has reported.
It is about a former Moldovan representative at the United Nations, currently international consultant in the sector of sustainable development at the UN Alexandru Cujba; ambassador, former director of the UN Department for General Assembly and United Nations Economic and Social Council, former Moldova’s ambassador to UN, former acting foreign affairs minister Ion Botnaru; deputy president for corporate development of the Master Card company, former president for bank investments of Bank of America Merrill Lynch Sergiu Cecoltan, executive director of the Morgan Stanley company, Anatol Vizitiu; financial director of LUKOIL North America, Oleg Bujor, and others.
Igor Dodon welcomed those present and congratulated them on the achievement of these outstanding results in their professional development.
The sides exchanged opinions on the evolution of the situation in the domestic and foreign policy of Moldova, problems and opportunities of the country’s new governance. The head of state informed also about the results of his visit to New York, including the speech given at the UN General Assembly.
The Moldovan president answered numerous questions put by Diaspora’s representatives. “I deem the discussion with our fellow countrymen as quite useful, as they must learn about the situation in Moldova from the first source,” Igor Dodon said.
