MP Iurie Renita announces likely to leave DA Platform faction

Chisinau, 1 October /MOLDPRES/- MP Iurie Renita announced today he could leave the faction of DA Platform, but the final decision will be taken after the 20 October elections.

He noted he had notified his colleagues about complaints on foreign policy in the last period. He said he supports the disappointments previously announced by MPs Octavian Ticu and Lilian Carp.

He noted that lately serious blunders have been committed in foreign policy. “Maia Sandu is doing a good job, she is very determined. However, the fact that she allowed Igor Dodon to go to the UN, I think it is a big mistake. I wanted to get involved in the processes related to foreign policy, but also the activity of MAEIE. I admit that these wishes have not materialized. I believed in the electoral promises of ACUM bloc. I hope we will continue to work together. Otherwise, I do not exclude that our diplomatic paths will be different, "Reniţă said.

Recently, MP Octavian Ţîcu announced he is leaving ACUM bloc and has registered in the electoral race for the capital's city hall.
