Several Democratic MPs to be heard by investigation commission

Chisinau, 2 October /MOLDPRES/- Several Democratic MPs and former employees of the Interior Ministry will be heard by the commission of inquiry for elucidating the circumstances on unconstitutional coup attempt. The hearings will be held on 8 October.
The chairman of the commission, MP Mihai Popşoi, said that MPs Vladimir Cebotari, Serghei Sîrbu and Igor Vremea will be heard on 8 October. Deputy head of the Democratic Party Alexandru Cauia, former Secretary General of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Simion Carp, former deputy head of the Inspectorate General of Police Gheorghe Cavcaliuc, head of the Special Courier Office Valeriu Cemirtan and Prosecutors Association head Alexandru Cladco will be called to the commission.
At the last meeting, the members of the commission heard former Prosecutor General Eduard Harunjen and directors of MOLDPRES and TV channel Moldova 1. Then Mihai Popşoi announced that the commission will come with a detailed report on the situation from 8-14 June 2019 until the end of the year, and during October the former ministers of Filip government and former judges of the Constitutional Court will be heard.
