Euro, U.S. dollar appreciate against Moldovan leu

Chisinau, 02 October /MOLDPRES/ – The cost of European single currency (EUR) appreciates, on Thursday, 03 October, by MDL 0.04 and the price of U.S. dollar (USD) – with MDL 0.01 against the value of Moldovan leu (MDL).

As a result, EUR costs MDL 19.36 for €1, while USD – MDL 17.73 for $1, according to the official exchange rates stipulated by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).

Also, the rate of Romanian leu (RON) increases by MDL 0.01, up to the level of MDL 04.07 for L1. On the other hand, the price of Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) depreciates by MDL 0.01 down to the official cost of MDL 0.71 for ₴1.

The value of Russian rouble (RUB) preserves its cost of MDL 0.27 for ₽1.
