Two thousand pensioners from Moldovan capital to receive one-off assistance worth 500 lei

Chisinau, 3 October /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 2,000 people from Moldova’s capital, who are older than 70 and have small pensions, will benefit from one-off material assistance worth 500 lei. The help is provided in the context of the International Day for Older Persons.

The Chisinau city hall said that the money was provided to improve the material situation of the elderly people from the city. The money will be received, in particular, by people, who did not benefit from material aid in 2019.

The lists of beneficiaries were compiled by the social assistance departments from the Moldovan capital’s districts.

The beneficiaries of material assistance can take the money at the post offices starting from 1 October till 25 December 2019.
