Weather to cool in Moldova on days to come

Chisinau, 3 October /MOLDPRES/ - The weather will cool on the next days, according to the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS). The temperatures will decrease by several degrees and rains are expected on 4 October.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the head of the SHS meteorological forecasts section, Ghenadie Rosca, said that the weather’s cooling was triggered by a cyclone bringing a mass of cold air from north Europe.

Thus, at night, air temperatures between +7 and +12 degrees are expected. They will continue to drop, so that meteorologists do not rule out that frost of -2 Celsius degrees might be recorded in the northern and central regions of Moldova on 8 and 9 October.

During the day, maximum air temperatures of +14 degrees are expected. The air temperature is forecast to be by 1-2 degrees higher in the central and southern regions. The air temperatures are expected to increase as late as on 9-10 October.
