Several educators receive diplomas from parliament for successful didactic activity in Moldova

Chisinau, 03 October  /MOLDPRES/ – Several teachers from pre – university and university educational institutions of Moldova were awarded Diplomas of the Parliament of Moldova – Ist degree, offered for successful didactic activity, dedication and valuable contribution in the development of education, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.

The diplomas were handed to them by SP Zinaida Greceanii during a festive event dedicated to the Professional Day of Education Workers, which is marked on 05 October.

In her greeting, the speaker congratulated the teachers which obtained the diploma of Parliament on the occasion of the recorded performances, but also on the occasion of the upcoming professional holiday.

Zinaida Greceanii noted that the work of educators and teachers goes beyond the educational field. "You are also educators, and managers, and social workers. And sometimes you have to assume the role of parents or grandparents. You manage, in no simple conditions, to make your invaluable contribution to the education of the young generation. That is why you deserve our deep respect and all the admiration”, said SP.

The Speaker also noted that today, in a world of knowledge, the profession of pedagogue is becoming more important and regaining its confidence and respect from another time. In the context, Zinaida Greceanii has said that, together with the employees of the education system, the politicians will continue to identify solutions for a decent life and favourable conditions of activity of educators.

The tribute event for teachers for their achievements is part of the communication campaign dedicated to teachers, launched by Parliament with the aim of strengthening communication with the teaching staff of Moldova and increasing prestige of pedagogical profession, including by raising public opinion. The campaign also confirms that education is a priority for MPs.
