Heating supply enterprise informs ready to provide thermal energy to Moldovan capital's residents

Chisinau, 04 October /MOLDPRES/ – Termoelectrica has completed the modernisation and maintenance works, announced at the beginning of summer, and is ready to offer heating services to Chisinau municipality. The announcement was made on Friday, 04 October, by the general manager of Termoelectrica S.A., Veaceslav Eni.

Veaceslav Eni announced that the procedure for connection to the heat has remained the same. "As in previous years, Termoelectrica does not operate with terms the beginning and the end of the heating season. We deliver heat all year around, and if necessary we can always connect the consumers to the heating services, without waiting for a decision from the local authorities. The connection procedure lasts up to 03 hours," said Veaceslav Eni.

According to Termoelectrica, in the recent period, the modernisation works were carried out at 20 km of pipes, there were installed 120 individual thermal points in 86 buildings in Chisinau municipality, there were launched reconstruction works of energy block №01, from CET Sursa I, and it was rehabilitated the thermotechnical equipment from the production sources – CT Vest, CT Sud and CET Sursa I etc.

Recently, Termoelectrica urged the managers of the housing blocks and the building managers to prepare the engineering system inside the building for the beginning of the heating season, and subsequently to present the passport for the preparation of the heating installations at the territorial headquarters of the Termoelectrica in the sector of which it is a part.

Termoelectrica S.A. provides thermal energy in over 5,600 buildings in the capital, of which about 600 budget institutions, about 800 economic agents, 200,000 flats in almost 2,955 blocks – of – flats.
