Moldovan economics and infrastructure ministry launches consultative dialogue on turning to account ground nearby Chisinau Arena

Chisinau, 4 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Economics and Infrastructure Ministry (MEI), jointly with the Public Property Agency (APP), launched a consultative dialogue with the national and international business environment on the defining of the final concept of the project and starting the constructions nearby the Chisinau Arena.    

Thus, the authorities are seeking the fittest solutions for the turning to good account and development in public interest of the ground nearby the Chisinau Arena.    

More exactly, business environment’s representatives were urged to submit concepts of turning to account and development of the ground with an area of 59 hectares, due to bring value added to the existing Object (the multipurpose Arena). Moreover, economic agents can participate as bidders in the building of the architectural complex, based on public tender.   

At the same time, decision-makers are set to identify an operator with international experience in the field of management of social and cultural objects, which are to take over a part of the Chisinau Arena project for management, based on a contract of management performance assigned by public tender, for a limited period, having at the basis the payment of an annual due.    

Business environment’s representatives can submit development concepts till 3 December 2019.

MEI also said that the multipurpose Arena was to be made available for use till late 2019 and would be able to host diverse sports, cultural, leisure events at the highest international standards. The Arena’s construction started in last autumn.
