Moldovan parliament speaker meets state secretary of Security Council from Belarus

Chisinau, 4 October /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Zinaida Grecianii today had a meeting with State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus  Stanislav Zasi, accompanied by Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus to Moldova Sergey Chichuk, the parliament’s communication and public relations general department has reported.     

The officials highlighted the constructive dialogue between Moldova and Belarus both at the state level and between regions, economic agents, ordinary citizens. At the same time, the sides stressed the need to extend the commercial and economic cooperation.

”The relations between our countries and peoples are based on great traditions of cooperation and friendship, which we must develop in continuation,” the parliament speaker said.  

The officials also tackled aspects on the regional security.  

Stanislav Zasi welcomed the fact that Moldova’s authorities promoted a balanced policy, based on mutual trust, with all states, which can contribute to the maintenance and consolidation of security in the region and on the European continent.
