Over 100 teachers of Moldova receive Government's Diploma for outstanding results in work

Chisinau, 4 October /MOLDPRES/ - Over 100 teachers from various education institutions have received the Moldovan Government’s Diploma, for prodigious teaching activity, correctness and professionalism in the promotion and implementation of education policies. Prime Minister Maia Sandu handed the distinctions today, in the context of marking the international day of education employee, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.     

Maia Sandu thanked for teachers’ dedication to do their job. She expressed firm confidence that the current governance would do its utmost to develop an advanced and competitive education system in Moldova.  

„The education has an important role in the creation of the attitude of this country’s citizens and you are those who are able to bring solidarity to the society, can create and promote authentic models. We want to encourage you to resist and together to implant attitudes and edify a fair and prosperous society,” Maia Sandu said.  

At the event, the prime minister had discussions with the teachers who came from all over Moldova. They expressed opinions on the challenges from the education system and made proposals on the latter’s adaptation to the needs of the young generation.
