Moldova's council for road traffic safety to discuss problems dealing with accidents, to come up with solutions

Chisinau, 9 October /MOLDPRES/ - The council for road traffic safety will convene at a meeting on 10 October, to discuss problems dealing with the latest traffic accidents, which resulted in dead people and tens of injured ones and will come up with solutions. Prime Minister Maia Sandu made statements to this effect after a cabinet meeting today.
”It is quite serious that so many accidents occur, many of which are fatal for the participants in the traffic. It is very serious that, in fact, the reasons for many of these accidents are the drivers driving drunk. On 10 October, we will discuss all these problems at the council for road traffic safety and will come up with solutions,” the PM said.
The official added that “what happens at present is the result of a bad policy in this sector during time.”
More traffic accidents took place in the last two weeks, in the wake of which dozens of persons were injured. Just today, 17 people were hospitalized, after a mini-bus in which they were travelling had overturned on the route Chisinau-Telenesti.
