Moldovan leu appreciates against euro, U.S. dollar

Chisinau, 09 October /MOLDPRES/ – The national currency (MDL) appreciates against the European single currency (EUR) and U.S. dollar (USD), according to the official exchange rates set by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM), for Thursday, 10 October.

Thus, EUR cheapens by MDL 0.06 down to the official price of MDL 19.35 for €1, while USD decreases to MDL 17.63 for $1, compared to the value of MDL 17.66 for $1 announced for today by BNM.

The cost of Romanian leu (RON) cheapens with MDL 0.01, on Thursday, 10 October. The price set for it is MDL 04.07 for L1.

The value of Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) remains at the cost of MDL 0.71 for ₴1, the same with the quotation announced today. And the Russian rouble (RUB) preserves its price of MDL 0.27 for ₽1.
