Moldovan – Russian strategic dialogue registers significant consolidation in 2019

Chisinau, 26 December /MOLDPRES/ – President of Moldova, Igor Dodon, has had a working meeting with Ambassador of Russia in Moldova, Oleg Vasnetsov.

According to the presidency’s press service, the officials reviewed year 2019 on bilateral relations and found with satisfaction the significant restoration and consolidation of strategic dialogue in all areas, despite the difficult political period in Moldova.

The parties also examined prospects of the two countries' interaction for 2020. In particular, it was mentioned of the common interest in signing and ratifying as quickly as possible over 10 bilateral agreements in the field of social protection, readmission, migration etc., which resolution awaits both sides.

At the end of meeting, Igor Dodon wished Oleg Vasnetsov and his family a happy New Year and a Merry Christmas.
