Nine schools of Moldova renovated with support of Education Ministry's project in 2020

Chisinau, 26 January /MOLDPRES/ - Nine education institutions from Moldova were repaired and rehabilitated in 2020, due to the Education Reform in Moldova project.
According to the Education, Culture and Research Ministry, (MECC), it is about eight lyceums and one gymnasium.
New networks of water and sewerage, electricity, ventilation networks, heating systems, windows and access ways for children with special needs were set in these schools.
Till late 2021, the works of repair are to be finished at another five education institutions. These are last of those 23 beneficiary schools of the project.
The repair works are carried out by the Social Investments Fund of Moldova, within the Education Reform in Moldova project, managed by MECC, with the financial support of the World Bank. This is a specific investment loan provided by the World Bank, implemented on the period April 2013 – April 2022, which supports Moldova’s government through the financing of activities which will consolidate the quality of education, being oriented to a more efficient education sector.
