Chisinau, 27 January /MOLDPRES/- Acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi today sent a congratulatory message on the 29th anniversary of the State Protection and Guard Service, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

The message says:

"29 years ago, the State Protection and Guard Service was set up in the Republic of Moldova, which became one of the most important national security structures. Throughout this period, SPPS employees showed professionalism, impeccable physical abilities, intellectual training and loyalty to those to whom they offered protection.

In a world and a constantly changing security environment, with increased demands and threats, I am glad to note that from one year to another the institution of the State Protection and Guard Service is evolving, always adapting its ways and means of training and operation.

Honor SPPS officers, non-commissioned officers and employees,

Your daily service is not only about providing the security of the officials, but also of the high-ranking guests who visit our country. Due to the professional performance and the continuous adaptation of the training and intervention capabilities, SPPS has credibility and prestige both in our country and abroad.

On the 29th anniversary of the founding of SPPS, I bring sincere congratulations and I wish you to continue to perform your duties conscientiously, with great dedication, vigilance and professionalism. Have courage, strength and determination in everything you do! And most importantly have health and peace with your loved ones! "
