Local authorities of Moldova to get clearer explanation on legal regime of conflict of interests

Chisinau, 27 January /MOLDPRES/ - The Congress of Local Authorities from Moldova (CALM) and the National Integrity Authority (ANI) will jointly launch an information campaign for the local authorities.

The institutions on 26 January ruled to launch a joint information campaign meant for local authorities in next February. Within the information campaign, decision-makers will explain to local authorities, in an understandable way, the need of submitting the assets and wealth declaration and the awareness about the legal regime of the conflict of interests. The information campaign will be held till late March 2021.

The necessity of this information campaign appeared following the registration of a large number of local authorities, who got in the focus of ANI because of the bad knowledge of the legislation on the regime of the conflict of interests.
