Winners of fourth issue of Fiscal Lottery nominated in Moldova

Chisinau, 27 January /MOLDPRES/ - The State Fiscal Service (SFS) has finished the fourth issue of the Fiscal Lottery contest, held on the period 1 October 2020 – 31 December 2020. Following the extraction from 22 January 2021, 175 winners will benefit from prizes worth 1,000 lei each.   

The list of winners of the fourth issue will be published on the website www.sfs.md on 5 February 2021 and the prizes will be transferred to the winners on card accounts, in ten days after the list’s publication at the latest. ‘’As many as 10.5 million transactions with bank cards, amounting to 3.3 billion lei in all, participated in the fourth edition; with the information received from the issuing commercial banks from Moldova,’’ SFS said.   

At the same time, the Fiscal Service informed that the extraction of the winners of the special edition of the Fiscal Lottery, dedicated to the winter holidays, would take place on 28 January, based on the transactions made on the period 1 December 2020 – 8 January 2020. Thus, 100 winners will be extracted, who will benefit from prizes worth 1,500 lei each.

The Fiscal Lottery contest is organized in accordance with the provisions of a regulation approved under government decision. The drawing of lots and the validation of the lottery’s winners take place in the presence of the commission, nominated under order by the director of the State Fiscal Service. The winner transactions are selected from the overall number of transactions participating in the Fiscal Lottery contest in aleatory, automated way, based on the transactions made with the bank card, through the Random.org platform.  

The State Fiscal Service backs measures of diminishing the cash money in the national economy and urges the residents to make payments with the card, thus participating in the Fiscal Lottery contest.
