Public transport in Chisinau moving under winter conditions

Chisinau, 28 January /MOLDPRES/- All main roads have been cleared of snow, but public transport in Chisinau is running in winter conditions.

Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban convened this morning an operative meeting of the municipal services involved in the snow removal process of the city. The head of the Department of Transport and Communications, Lilian Copaci, said that all the main public access roads in Chisinau have been cleared of snow, and the means of public transport, buses and trolleybuses, have been removed from the transport routes and run under winter conditions.

"There are traffic difficulties on roads. That is why, there are delays in the traffic schedule of public transport routes that connect the municipality with suburban communes," Copaci said.

Meteorologists have issued a new warning for a sudden change in weather, which is still valid today.
