Romanian delegation comes to Moldova to set details on supply of consignment of anti-Covid vaccine

Chisinau, 28 January /MOLDPRES/ - A delegation led by Romanian Ambassador to Moldova Daniel Ionita and the state secretary at the Health Ministry of Romania, deputy head of the National Committee on Coordination of Activities as to Vaccination Andrei Baciu held discussions with Moldova’s authorities in Chisinau today and established the steps due to be undertaken, so that Romania’s donation of anti-Covid-19 vaccine can be supplied efficiently.
The Romanian delegation had meetings with the presidential adviser in the health sector, Ala Nemerenco, state secretary of the Health, Labour and Social Protection, Tatiana Zatic and the state secretary at the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry, Dumitru Socolan.
The sides discussed the technical and legal steps, due to be made, so that Romania’s donation of anti-Covid-19 vaccine can be delivered efficiently and in the best conditions to Moldova. The Romanian side informed about efforts taken so far by Romania in the fight against Covid and established the official ways of communication for conveying information on the vaccination process, as well as the organizational and legal aspects for the supply of the consignment of vaccine to Moldova.
At the meeting, the state secretary of the Health, Labour and Social Protection, Tatiana Zatic, unveiled the national immunization plan, the stages of vaccination, target groups, vaccination centres, as well as the measures undertaken by Moldova as to the reception, stocking and distribution of the vaccine.
