Moldovan deputy premier for reintegration meets U.S. Ambassador to Moldova

Chisinau, 28 January /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Olga Cebotari today had a meeting with Ambassador of the United States to Moldova, Dereck J. Hogan, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.

The deputy PM reviewed the present dynamic of the process of negotiations, the up-to-date subjects on the agenda of the Chisinau-Tiraspol dialogue and set forth the Moldovan side’s visions on prospects for the talks’ advancement.

Also, the American diplomat was informed about the aspects discussed and the priority directions of activity set at the recent working meeting of the political representatives in the process of negotiations for Transnistrian settlement on behalf of Chisinau and Tiraspol (20 January 2020) and with Special Representative of the OSCE Chairmanship-in-Office for Transnistrian Settlement Thomas Mayr-Harting (26 January 2020).

The officials reconfirmed the full confidence in the continuous maintaining of a prodigious and mutually advantageous cooperation, in order to support the country’s reintegration policies and the Transnistrian settlement process.
