Moldovan literary critic says 2020 year one of the most difficult years in her life

Chisinau, 29 January /MOLDPRES/ - The 2020 year was one of the most difficult years for the literary critic Lucia Turcanu.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, Lucia Turcanu said that the ban to get out of the home where you want and when you want had been frustrating and really depressing. Turcanu also said that the impossibility to go to the Ipotesti village (Romania), where she had so many nice projects for the last year, had been really dramatic.
Despite all restrictions and fears, Lucia Turcanu resumed her activities at the Ipotesti Memorial, in online format. The critic prepared for printing the No1-2 of the magazine of Romanian studies, GLOSE, from 2020.
Lucia Turcanu was born in the Gvozdova village, northern Floresti district, on 27 January 1974. She graduated from the Philology Faculty of the Balti-based State University and took her doctor’s degree at the Academy of Sciences from Moldova in 2005. Turcanu worked as lecturer at the Balti State University (1998—2008), editor at the Chisinau-based publishing house from Chisinau (2009-2018). In 2008-2009, she got a scholarship by the Polish government, with a research in the editorial market sector, at the Warsaw University. Presently, Turcanu acts as scientific researcher at the Ipotesti Memorial – Mihai Eminescu National Studies Centre (Romania) and at the Mihail Kogalniceanu national Literature Museum from Chisinau.
She debuted as writer in 1999 and wrote more books, literary critics articles in magazines from Moldova and Romania.
