Moldovan president has phone conversation with Bulgarian PM

Chisinau, 29 January /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov on 28 January, the presidential press service has reported.
An important topic of the conversation was faster access to vaccine for the Moldovan citizens with the help of the EU institutions, as well as the need to boost cooperation at governmental level for citizens.
The two officials discussed the importance of advancing on the European agenda and the support that Bulgaria can offer to our country in this respect. Maia Sandu stressed the role of the Bulgarian community in our country and commitment as president to work in the interests of all citizens, to ensure the right to culture and education and to make every effort as citizens of the Republic of Moldova, regardless of ethnicity or language to have a prosperous life at home.
The head of state thanked the Bulgarian Prime Minister for intention to fund projects in Taraclia, and stressed the importance of local projects with the support of partner countries for the development of our communities.
