Rescuers de-block over 200 vehicles in Moldova

Chisinau, 29 January /MOLDPRES/ - Rescuers and firemen have towed over 200 vehicles blocked on roads from central and southern Moldova in the last 24 hours.
According to data by the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU), towing operations were made on roads from the districts of Stefan Voda, Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia, Cahul, Taraclia and Orhei. In the Stefan Voda district, rescuers worked in the villages of Copceac and Marianca de Jos, as well as on the R-31 and R-30 roads.
Today, authorities are to undertake measures to de-block the settlements Florica, Plopi, Ucrainca, Chircaiestii Noi and Tricolici, Causeni district, as well as the settlement Joltai, UTA Gagauzia.
Meteorologists informed that light snow was forecast for the next days and the air temperature would increase up to +8 Celsius degrees in early next week.
