Meteorologists forecast snow, sleet in Moldova for last week-end of January

Chisinau, 29 January /MOLDPRES/ - Meteorologists have said that the air temperature would oscillate between -7 Celsius degrees at night and +7 degrees during the day in the last week-end of January.

On 30 January, rains, snow and sleet is expected all over Moldova; therefore, rescuers and police warn drivers to be attentive in traffic.

On 31 January, the weather will slightly warm at night and will cool during the day, with sunny intervals.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, sources of the State Hydrometeorological Service said that, ‘’this year, we enjoyed a generous January, with all attributes of winter, to a great extent enough to provide the necessary level of humidity in soil for the agricultural works from the next agricultural season.’’
