Moldovan president meets Hungarian envoy

Chisinau, 30 January /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu had a meeting with Sándor Szabó, Hungarian Ambassador to Chisinau on 29 January, the presidential press service has reported.
The officials exchanged views on the current situation in the two countries, as well as prospects for post-pandemic bilateral cooperation. Maia Sandu thanked Sándor Szabó for Hungary support for fighting the pandemic and equipping health workers, and voiced hope that Budapest will contribute to faster getting the anti-Covid-19 vaccine by Moldova.
Other immediate priorities, the president pointed out the solution of the political and governmental deadlock in Moldova, which will allow access to foreign financial assistance, so necessary to overcome the economic, social and health consequences of the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. At the same time, Maia Sandu said that the best solution for reforming the political spectrum is snap polls.
