Moldovan literary critic's view on 2020

Chisinau, 1 February /MOLDPRES/- For literary critic Nina Corcinschi, 2020 was a dense year, with anxieties, stress and joyful achievements and confidence in tomorrow.
"2020 brought me much anxiety and sadness. Too many dear people gone, too much suffering came over us," said the writer.
A great joy of the year for the Institute of Romanian Philology Bogdan Petriceicu-Hasdeu was offering by President of Romania Klaus Iohannis of Anniversary Medal Centenary of the Great Union, as a sign of appreciation for the effort to preserve national identity and spreading the Romanian cultural values, for the dedication with which they were involved in the organization of events dedicated to the Centenary of the Great Union.
Nina Corcinschi was born on September 20, 1979 in Dâșcova, Orhei district. She graduated from the Faculty of Philology of the State Pedagogical University Ion Creanga in Chisinau. She is PhD in philology, associate professor, director of the Institute of Romanian Philology Bogdan Petriceicu-Hasdeu of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research. Member of the Writers' Union of Moldova and Romania.
She was awarded the Prize of the Writers' Union of Moldova (2008, 2013), the Prize of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova for literary criticism (2010, 2012), the Prize of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova in literature Grigore Vieru (2018), the Prize Ion Creangă of the National Museum of Romanian Literature, Iași (2019), Ioan Strat Prize for cultural management, awarded by the Magazine Convorbiri literare, Iași (2019) and the Prize of the Council of the Writers' Union of Moldova (2018, 2020) .
