Chisinau mayor asks to punish those guilty of salary delay of teachers

Chisinau, 1 February /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban today asked to punish those who are guilty of withholding salaries of teachers working in the municipal education system.
Ion Ceban requested explanations from deputy mayor Angela Cutasevici and Andrei Pavaloi of the General Directorate of Youth Education and Sports for this case.
Acting head of the General Directorate of Youth Education and Sports Andrei Pavaloi said that the salary delay was due to the delay in entering the accounting data in the system.
The mayor said that those who are guilty of the salary delay should have their salary withheld for two days.
