Incidence of COVID-19 in Chisinau down

Chisinau, 1 February /MOLDPRES/- In Chisinau there is a decrease in the incidence of COVID-19.

The head of the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Health of the capital, Tatiana Bucearschi, said at today's online meeting of the municipal services that the incidence of coronavirus diseases decreased, from 1863 to 325 diseases per one hundred thousand inhabitants, but that remains high. "As long as the incidence of diseases remains above one hundred, the Red Health Code in Chisinau will be maintained," said Bucearschi.

At the same time, the official noted that there are 59 free beds in the Intensive Care Units, and the number of serious and very serious cases has increased. "726 coronavirus patients are hospitalized in health institutions in Chisinau. 45 patients are in a very serious condition, 242 are in a serious condition, 414 are in a medium condition, and 25 patients have mild forms of COVID-19 ", said Bucearschi.
