Sixteen substations of emergency medical assistance receive new ambulances

Chisinau, 22 February /MOLDPRES/ - The National Centre of Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Assistance today informed that 21 B-type ambulance cars had been distributed in Moldova.
According to the Centre, the new ambulances were brought to the substations from Chisinau, Balti, Briceni, Edinet, Falesti, Floresti, Glodeni, Sangerei, Soroca, Cahul, Cantemir, Taraclia, Comrat and Ceadar-Lunga.
The leadership of the National Centre of Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Assistance says that the sanitary transport units meet all international standards in the sector and the medical equipment allows providing emergency medical assistance at the highest level.
„The renewal of the park of vehicles of the Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Assistance Service will ensure a greater quickness of interventions, better conditions of providing the emergency medical assistance and assisted transport in the pre-hospital phase, as well as a better quality of medical services provided to the residents,’’ reads a press release issued by the institution.
