National Army sent 50 beds to COVID-19 Center Chisinau

Chisinau, 25 February /MOLDPRES/- Following a request of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, yesterday the National Army sent 50 beds to the COVID-19 Center Chisinau.

At the suggestion of acting Minister of Defense Victor Gaiciuc, the furniture was transported and arranged at Moldexpo on 24 February by a group of soldiers from the Fulger Special Purpose Battalion.

At the same time, the National Army has boosted measures to prevent the spread of infection, by increasing the number of checks on the epidemiological status in military units and the degree of compliance with the rules and restrictions imposed by the authorities in this regard.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the National Army has sent another 140 beds, and participated in the arrangement of the COVID-19 Center Chisinau.
