Chisinau, 22 March /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau city hall will suspend the activity of public catering units that do not comply with the measures of the Public Health Commission.
Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban threatened the economic agents working in the HoReCa sector that he will stop the activity of the public alimentation units that do not respect the anti-pandemic measures.
According to Ceban, the catering establishments pay fines and continue to operate without anti-coronavirus restrictions. "I understood that some restaurants pay fines for failure to comply with restrictions that they stay after the allowed time, after which on the second night, these things are repeated,” he said.
He noted that municipal authorities could stop the activity of public catering units. "Maybe it would be better to stop their activity for a while, if things continue like this. We did everything possible for this line of activity to continue, but the impudence will not be tolerated ", said Ceban.
According to the representatives of the Ministry of Interior, present at the meeting, the previous week 16 legal entities were fined for failing to comply with the measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. "There are cases that are repeated. We will request to cease the activity. It is a problem that we cannot overcome otherwise", they said.
