Three Moldovan masters photographers nominated by International Federation of Photographic Art

Chisinau, 20 May /MOLDPRES/ - Masters photographers Iurie Foca and Vladimir Colos have recently received the title of artists of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) and the head of Moldova’s Union of Artists Photographers, Anatol Poiata, - the title of excellence of the same organization.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, the head of the Moldovan Union of Artists Photographers, Anatol Poiata, said that this nomination was recognition of the level of the artists photographers from Moldova. ‘’The title of FIAP artist is awarded to photographers, whose works were accepted during at least 15 international saloons from eight different countries and the excellence title – to the ones who were accepted at saloons from over 30 countries. There are six masters photographers of FIAP in Moldova, of whom two have the title of excellence (EFIAP). It is about Valeriu Volontir and the undersigned,’’ Anatol Poiata said.
The International Federation of Photographic Art (Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique sau FIAP) is an international organization of national associations of photography. Over 85 national associations are members, comprising almost one million individual photographers. FIAP was founded by M. Van de Wijer from Belgium in 1946. It is the only organization of artists photographers of the world recognized by the UNESCO.
