OSCE special representatiuve for Transnistrian settlement process to visit Moldova

Chisinau, 21 May /MOLDPRES/ - Special Representatives of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on behalf of Sweden for Transnistrian Settlement Process Thomas Mayr-Harting will visit Moldova on 23-25 May, to consider the present situation in the Transnistrian settlement process and, along with the sides, to identify concrete steps for advancing the settlement.

According to a press release by the OSCE Mission in Chisinau, Mayr-Harting will have meetings with President Maia Sandu, acting Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Aureliu Ciocoi, acting Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Olga Cebotari, as well as with the leaders of political parties. Also, Mayr-Harting will meet the ambassadors residents of the mediators and observers in the 5+2 format.

In Tiraspol, the special representative will meet the Transnistrian region’s leader, Vadim Krasnoselsky and the political representative, Vitaly Ignatyev.
