As many as 2,780 people receive second vaccine dose of vaccine at second stage of university marathon

Chisinau, 14 June /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 2,782 people were vaccinated at the second stage of the university marathon of anti-Covid-19 immunization, organized by the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF).
The university estimated that this stage, held in the last week-end, had been a success. As many as 2,782 people were vaccinated at this marathon. According to data presented, 2,380 citizens received the second dose of Pfizer and 355 - Sinopharm. At the same time, 17 citizens were vaccinated with AstraZeneca and 30 – with Sinopharm.
Sixteen immunization lines worked during the two days of the marathon: 12 for administering the second dose with Pfizer and 4 - for Sinopharm.
Most people vaccinated with the first dose of Pfizer came to the vaccination with the second dose on 12 June early in the morning, and in order to avoid queues, the University administration ruled to start the immunization one hour earlier.
Students and physicians residents - members of the Association of Students and Residents in Medicine - brought a good contribution to the good carrying out of the immunization process at USMF Nicolae Testemitanu. They made volunteering, by providing support in this action of family physicians and medical assistants of the University Clinic of Primary Medical Assistance. About 600 members of the university community were involved in the Marathon in all.
The second phase of the university marathon of immunization against Covid-19 was organized on 12 and 13 June.
