As many as 33 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 14 June /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 2,838 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 979 quick antigen tests and 33 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 255,830 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none of all cases of infection registered is among medical employees.

As many as 167 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 44 are in extremely serious condition (12 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

Another 62 people have been treated. As many as 248,733 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

In the context, 694 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 14,766 are under supervision at home.
