Electoral civil servants to be provided with protection equipment at snap parliamentary elections in Moldova

Chisinau, 15 June /MOLDPRES/ - The inferior electoral bodies will be provided with protection equipment, in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 infection at the snap parliamentary elections due on 11 July 2021.

The equipment will be supplied by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry and will contain masks and protection costumes, gloves, visors and disinfectants and will be meant both for the members of the electoral bureaus and the voters due to come to vote on the election day.

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today took a decision to this effect. CEC established that 200,300 gloves, 30,045 visors, 6,009 protection costumes and 300,450 protection masks, meant both for the electoral civil servants and voters, would be distributed to the electoral bureaus of the polling stations from Moldova.
