Moldovan policemen discover over 2,400 litres of ethyl alcohol without origin acts

Chisinau, 26 July /MOLDPRES/ - Inspectors of the south patrol department have discovered over 2,400 litres of ethyl alcohol without acts of origin.

According to the National Public Security Inspectorate, law-enforcers stopped a Mercedes Sprinter vehicle on the Ceadar-Lunga way and during the acts’ control, as well as the verification of luggage, officers noticed more cylinders.

Given that he did not have acts for the alcohol, the driver, along with the goods detected were accompanied to the Ceadar-Lunga Police Inspectorate for documentation. He proved to be a man aged 58 years, resident of the same town.

If found guilty of the carriage of the goods without acts of origin, the driver runs the risk of getting a fine worth from 3,000 to 4,500 lei.
