Moldova Film Days to be held in Bucharest

Chisinau, 20 August /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldova Film Days will take place at the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant (MNTR) from Bucharest on 27-29 August.
The event is organized at an initiative by Moldova’s Embassy in Romania, in partnership with the National Cinematography Centre from Chisinau, National Museum of the Romanian Peasant, Romanian Cultural Institute, Association of Creative Industries from Moldova (COR) the La Mama Peasant’s Club.
The event marks the 30th anniversary of the declaration of Moldova’s Independence and the same number of years of diplomatic relations between the two states, Romanian being the first state to recognize Moldova’s Independence in 1991.
According to the organizers, the Moldova Film Days presents to film lovers movies made in the last 20 years. Some of these films have not been screened in movie theatres from Romania. The films presented at the Museum of the Peasant Movie Theatre on this occasion represent the fruit of the creation of the young generation of cinema men from Moldova, which found a district identity voice in the European cinematography. Fifteen documentary films will be screened during three days.
On 28 August at 15:00, Romanian professionals from cinematography are invited, along with Moldovan cinema men, to an industry meeting, aimed at identifying cooperation between Romania and Moldova.
