Rescuers carrying out COVID information actions in several districts of Moldova

Chisinau, 6 September /MOLDPRES/- The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations continues the anti-COVID prevention measures. In this regard, rescuers and firefighters in the country are informing people about prevention actions and how to protect themselves from contact with the virus and urging people to get vaccinated.
According to IGSU data, in the last days alone 1,147 people have received information leaflets, being asked to wear protective masks in public spaces, to wash their hands as often as possible,and to keep social distance, as well as to address doctors in case of COVID symptoms.
In total, in the information measures, during the last 10 days, over 77 rescuers were trained with 28 technical units.
Prevention actions carried out by rescuers took place in 104 localities in the country, being informed 11,075 people. Anti-COVID prevention measures are organized daily by IGSU and aim to prevent infection of the population with the new type of coronavirus.
