First Congress of College of Veterinarians announced

Chisinau, 29 October /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry invites members of the veterinary community and interested persons to participate in the first Congress of the College of Veterinarians of the Republic of Moldova.

The main purpose of the event is the establishment of the College of Veterinarians, a body empowered to defend the rights and interests of its members in all areas of activity, as well as ensuring the continuous professional development of veterinarians.

"The establishment of the College of Veterinarians of the Republic of Moldova will have the role to increase the efficiency of veterinary activities, to make responsible and encourage the practice of the profession of veterinarian, to facilitate professional integration and ensure transparency in the activity of veterinarians in various fields," the Ministry of Agriculture said.

The congress will take place on November 18, when the approval of the Statute and the election of the governing bodies of the College will take place.

The event will be organized in online format.
