Roads accessibility in country ensured in winter conditions

Chisinau, Dec. 8 / MOLDPRES /- During the night of 8 December, maintenance work on the national roads during the winter continued in the regions where interventions by the territorial units of Roads company were required, the State Road Administration has reported.

According to the institution, in the morning, patrol works were carried out throughout the country.

"Four units of special equipment were involved in the technological process and 40 tons of anti-skid material were scattered. Currently, the accessibility of the road infrastructure is ensured in winter conditions on the entire national road network ", indicates ASD.

The State Road Administration warns drivers to comply with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulations on equipping vehicles with appropriate tires and adapting the speed regime to winter traffic conditions.

In case of any difficulties, in order to request the intervention of the road users, the traffic participants can call the numbers: 22-55-30; 74-89-61; 060 477 117.

According to meteorologists, today, a yellow code of heavy rainfall is announced all over the country, predominantly in the form of rain, in the north.
