Winter conditions on roads in Moldova

Chisinau, January 14 / MOLDPRES /- Accessibility of the road infrastructure is currently ensured in winter conditions on the entire national road network.

According to the State Road Administration, during the night of January 14, road maintenance works took place in several districts. In the North and Center areas, patrol and anti-skid works were carried out.

7 workers were involved in the technological process and spread over two tons of anti-skid material.

In this context, the State Road Administration warns drivers to comply with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulations and to equip their vehicles with appropriate tires. In case of traffic difficulties, to request the intervention of road users, drivers can call the numbers: 22-55-30; 74-89-61; 060 477 117.

Also today, ASD announced that it will carry out works for sanitation and deforestation of forested areas in the safety zone of national roads. Shrubs grown chaotically along roads that cause the formation of Trojans and make it difficult to drain rainwater will be cut down.
